Inspired by high-performance coilover suspension systems, this lamp transforms a precision mechanical form into a functional lighting object.
It features a compressible spring structure paired with a fully dimmable LED, creating a tactile interaction rarely seen in lighting design. Press the top to compress the spring — release it, and it rebounds smoothly, just like a real suspension component.
Every part is engineered with carefully calculated tolerances to ensure consistent compression, rebound, and long-term stability. The primary structural components are 3D printed, allowing complex geometry and precise mechanical behavior that traditional manufacturing can’t achieve.
